First Love

Love is such a beautiful thing. You haven't experienced life until you love. I'm sure we all can remember our first love. I was 14 and it was literally love at first sight. He ended up being my whole world...my everything and until this day we remain friends. That's the beauty of a love, if you stop loving the one you love(ed) maybe you never loved them in the first place because real love never goes away. Its like a burning fire that cannot be put out. Sometimes I wish I would've met him when we were both older because we would both know how to be in a relationship, we would both be way more mature and probably would of been together  until old age :) Whenever I think of us, I think of the Notebook, even though the two characters went their separate ways and fell in love with other people the love that they initially had surpassed any type of feelings they had with their new partners. That's the beauty of your first love, its like no other and when you find someone to love you just as much as you love them sparks will fly. I remember when I first realized I loved him, it was a feeling I couldn't describe, just an internal passion to always want to be around him, think about him and do right by him. Even though I haven't experienced love after my first, I will always and forever cherish my first love. People speculate that it was puppy love because of our age but I can attest I know how real love feels and I cannot wait to feel that way again.
