The first thing I was ever told about Elizabeth Taylor was back in her day she was the most beautiful woman in Hollywood and possibly the most beautiful woman in the world. I remember my mom describing how uniquely beautiful her eye color was which happened to be reminiscent of a kind of a kind of lavender. I later watched Elizabeth Taylor play "Cleopatra" and was fascinated by her beauty and acting abilities. Elizabeth Taylor is infamous for her multiple husbands, 8 marriages to be exact. She also has a passion for jewelry, launched three perfumes including the very successful "White Diamonds" and was a major supporter of Aids research. Elizabeth Taylor was a notable human being who died today due to congestive heart failure at age 79. She will be missed. Her contributions to society and essentially to the world will always be remembered.
