Nostalgia...Bring the true essence of the 70s back Pleaseee!!!

My friend Jessica called me a Fashion Magazine Junkie...I truly believe thats the best way to describe me. I love reading magazines when I have time to considering my busy school schedule. Nevertheless ever since I could remember I have always been in love with magazines...It all started out with my American Girl magazines every month when I would literally sit in my room with a notepad, pen and American Girl and jot down all the dolls I wanted for christmas...Then my mom surprised me with a Teen Vogue subscription around age 13 and the rest is history. As I sit reading my Elle and Harper Bazaar on a boring Friday night I notice a common theme in these magazines. NOSTALGIA!!!! A lot of Fashionistas want to get back to the true essence of the 70s where fashionable women wore bright colors and whimsical garments. They want to go back to a time in fashion where Studio 54 was the iconic mecca of all fashionable and eclectic things. A time where life was care free and fashion made that huge statement exclaiming "Look at me NOW" It seems that people are yearning for this glamour and after going through my mags I know exactly what spring and summer is going to exemplify....The Funky 70s baby!!!!!
